8/24/2016 1 Comment Nothing Lasts Forever On the boat deck of the Oscar Elton Sette slowly making my way down the chain, back into the world of people and the World Wide Web after a four-month hiatus. I have left Pearl and Hermes atoll with more digital pictures than I care to admit, just about 100 rolls of 120 medium format film and an experience that has no doubt changed the way that I perceive the world, myself and everyone/everything in it. Looking forward to seeing my husband, scruffing my cat and getting back into the studio! All photos taken under NOAA NMFS Permit No. 16632

8/4/2016 0 Comments PHR REPORT #8Like trying to elucidate a dream, it’s difficult to find words to describe a place that I would have otherwise not believed existed had I not seen it with my own two eyes. Life here feels elemental and is so rich in all of its forms that every moment brings an entirely new experience to be learned from. Nature does not try to hide the cycles of life and death as people do. It is a tremendously beautiful and humbling environment to both witness and become a part of. NMFS Permit No. 16632-00
