Through the amalgamation of art and science I seek to understand how we are effecting the climate to learn what we can do to create positive environmental impact. Observation, conservation science and in-depth research inform my work discussing climate change and the urgency for a call to action.
Over the last decade I have collaborated with conservation research scientists from Antarctica to Alaska to learn about the many ways that climate change is impacting ocean ecosystems. I have worked as an embedded member of field teams to assist with research and gain first-hand knowledge about some of the many ecological changes that scientist are observing. Experiences of working in the field directly inform my work.
